Won't forward one of my ports.
« on: November 06, 2009, 05:22:59 PM »
Hey, I'm having a tad more trouble.

I've managed to forward only two of my desired three ports. I'm trying to configure the ports for Borderlands, and the TCP and the UDP forward, but the TCP/UDP won't. Sorry I can't be more specific.

It sounds like you might be trying the same rules for the TCP/UDP setting if I understand you correctly.  Can you post some screen shots so I know exactly what you mean?  It sounds like you just have something set wrong, something simple, and seeing it will be the easiest way to tell.

Maybe I'll get Boarderlands at some point and you can help get me going.  ;D

I wasn't really sure what I should show, so I just took a few.

Also if I manage to sort this out, I'd be more than happy to start you off in Borderlands. :)

(Edit by Shane, removed the port test tool pic as it showed your Internet IP,  ;D)

As you seen in the port forwarding rules port 777 is pointing to a different IP 152 while the others are pointing to 221  ;D
Fix that and your all set.

Ah, that did it. I knew it was going to be something frustratingly simple.

Also, Evan, if you ever do start up BL then my ID is Lord_Throneroom.

And thanks for all the help and the removal of my IP. ;D
