ZyXEL P-2602HWT-F3 port forward problem
« on: August 27, 2009, 10:15:02 AM »
http://forums.pcwintech.com/index.php?topic=766.0
Please refer to this thread first, I have the same ZyXEL P-2602HWT-F3 with firmware version V3.70(ASC.2) | 06/04/2009 (not sure if it's the same he had?).
When I start the update router action, I end up with "Failed - Object Not Found"

I've tried opening ports manually, adding them first to the NAT list, and then to the firewall rules page (this guide: http://moya.zyxel.no/multimodem/NAT_v01.pdf  told me how).
However this did not work and it causes me alot of trouble!
One weird fact though is that the port I've assigned uTorrent to works, but no other ports I try to open. I am using a static IP.
Am using nod32 and windows firewall, but have tried disabling one/both but it makes no difference.

Thanks for your help :D  And this is an awesome program!!!

Perfect! I never got to get this router working right, so if your willing to work with me I would like to try again!
email me and we will get on msn or yahoo and get started. I'm just working on an update to my simple internet meter today so I have time.

In the mean time, since you manually forwarded the ports and some aren't working give this a read
