Can't get past Step 1
« on: July 28, 2009, 11:41:14 PM »
So I'm probably just missing something really simple, but whenever I go to Update Router and no sooner does it start that it say's:

Router: Linksys - WRT300N (Linksys Firmware)
Loading Commands...
Number Of Port Forwards To Send To Router (1)
Running Commands...

(Current -  1/1)
Adding uTorrent01 (TCP) For Ports 52424-52424 To 192.168.1.121()

Running Script From Database For Selected Router
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 01. nav_first_only("Forward.asp")

!ERROR! (Navigating to http://192.168.1.1/Forward.asp)
This Entry Will be Skipped.
Please Check your Router Info And Try Again.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Access Denied(-2147024891) (http://:admin@192.168.1.1/Forward.asp)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Finished Adding uTorrent01

-------------------DONE! (All Commands Finished)-------------------

It tells me to check my Router info but I don't know what exactly I'm supposed to be looking for. Any idea's?

np, as you can see your getting
Access Denied(-2147024891) (http://:admin@192.168.1.1/Forward.asp)

So here is what to do. First see if you can log into your router from firefox or internet explorer. If you can't you may need to reset it to put it back to defaults.

If you can log in then make sure the program has the same user name and password.

Sometimes the Linksys routers like to be a pain with the log in, so do this next.
Remove the user name and password from the program, and under the advanced menu turn off silent mode. This will allow the log in pop up box to appear the next time you hit "Update Router" like it does in firefox or internet explorer. Enter your user name and password and you should be good to go :-)
