Monitor 1 or several ports for activity

How can one monitor one or several ports for activity.

 I would like to monitor port 25 and find out if I have a program that is sending spam using my computer. I would like to know which program it is

There a couple of tools you

There a couple of tools you can use. First the free firewall comodo will really help you keep an eye on programs trying to run on your system and connect tot he net.

You can also go to the start menu, go to run, and type in cmd, hit ok
when the command window opens type in netstat and you will get a list of current connections, my cs fire monitor also has a netstat tool built in.
