I'm trying to setup a small server for a few friends and myself, ive done it before but i accidentally wiped out the hdd when i upgraded to SSD so im trying to re set it up, and i have a new router from back then I have a Netgear N600, I can access the portforwarding settings but when i try to open the port
"The specified port(s) are being used by other configurations. Please check your configurations of Remote Management, Port forwarding, Port Triggering, UPnP Port Mapping table, RIP, and Internet connection type"
is the error i get and i dont know how to get around this...if anyone has information please! let me know!

Your right, I need to go double check the script.

Try the 3700 in the program and see how it does for you

I tried all the netgear software. None of it worked i always got the same not found error, on step 5. I can manually open the port not using the macro software that "Simple Port Forwarding" i know the steps but i always get that error of the port being is use, the same error i post in the beginning...I'm really desparte at this point. I dont even know what to do, i talked to local geek squad agents from bestbuy and they said they have never seen that issue before and dont have any advice on how to fix it...lol its really annoying that it should be straight forward, open router settings, goto port forwarding, add custom, Minecraft, port 25565, the IP as my own internal 192.168.1.2 for this computer, and click apply...it should be that easy but its not :(. If it helps or anything i can also list off the minecraft server options

You can only forward ports to one system at a time. So lets see if you simply already have the port you want in another rule.

Post a screen shot of the port forwarding page in the netgear
