Dual monitor Gaming in windows 7?
« on: January 21, 2012, 02:10:03 PM »
so i've got a dual monitor for around 2 months, and i've discovered that you can play games with them (both, now it only plays on one), any ideas how to enable it? I got Red Faction Guerrilla, wich has an option to enable it, but it doesnt seem to work, (can't switch from one to two), could the problem be because screens are 1440x900 and 1240x1028?

I wasn't sure should i ask here, on these forums, but asking in other forums seems pointless (answers are always saying that you have something wrong and it never works what they say to do) .. :/
Thanks in advance :)

Depends on the game.

I haven't ever played a game that played on both monitors. I know there is the ATI 3 monitor setup. Yet to try it myself, looks good though.

Some games give you the option to which monitor you want to run the game on. Some just run on what ever is set as your primary and there is sometimes software (Like with nivida) where you can tell it what monitor to open programs on.

Nah, the card is acctualy working properly, i'am just thinink that the problem will be because of the monitor sizes. planing to get a 1440x900 from a friend, and see if that works. But don't really know from who to borrow :D

Didn't went really good. Only person i knew who has widescreen like this is kinda mad on me, so won't work very well with that. I was thinking about Windowed mode > No border > and just span trought both screens, but that would kinda kill the quality, spanning and stuff  :undecided:

Yeah, or just lower the resolution on the bigger monitor and have both be the same size
