Lorex lh110 wont view online
« on: January 16, 2012, 04:10:51 PM »
I bought a lorex lh110 8 cam system that works great, even views just fine through my LAN. I ran the auto port forward program it came with and did each step slow but can't get it to view online. after days of playing with it i feel my brain is fried. can anyone walk me through this and figure out what i am doing wrong without make'n me feel too dumb. i was told that i might not be able to view my cams being on the same network and would have to go somewhere else and try to log in. might this be true?  Thanks!!!

I just tried connecting to your internet IP and got the lorex screen, so you are working :cheesy:

When home and on the same network as the DVR you will need to use its local IP. When outside your home like I am you will use the internet IP. This is because your router doesn't like reverse nat

Help?? !! Just got the Lorex LH110. My router is an Airport Extreme & can view the camera's through my iPad2 via the house WiFi. All 3 iPhones running the same app will NOT see the camera's ??!! It seems as if they are being blocked??!! My friend ran the same app on his "Droid" with the same settings & nothing. The app being "Lorex Mobile Eco"I don't think there's anything wrong with the app but maybe my 1025 port is still blocked by something?? Oh btw, main computer is a MacBook Pro (Intel) running Leopard.
  Can Anyone Help??!!

So did the local IP of the DVR change on you?

What was it before and what is it now?

The IP is set to auto so it can change on you.

In the DVR you can make it static.

Go do that now and put in this info

IP: 192.168.0.250
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.1
DNS: 192.168.0.1

Once that is done save and then reboot the DVR.

Now log into the port forwarding page int he router and update the port forwarding rules to point to 192.168.0.250

Sure email shane at pcwintech

Also remember when home and on the same network as the DVR you will use its local IP. When outside your home, like I am, you use the DDNS name
