Right click on computer and left click on properties.

Once open click the system properties on the left. When that opens you will see a computer name tab. Click it, then click the change button :wink:

Any specific thing i should rename it as? and what should I do after renaming it?

Anything you like. For my computer I just use my initials "SMC" (Not the router brand either lol)

Reboot. Then check the port forwarding and make sure it points to the new computer name :wink:

The name of my computer still doesn't show up on the list, but a new name showed up called "Captain" (Not what I renamed my computer as)

lol, now that's just odd.

Do me a fav and download my simple static IP tool
http://www.pcwintech.com/simple-static-ip

Use it and hit disable on the static IP and then reboot. Once back up and you have an IP from the 2wire see if your computer name shows up.

If it still doesnt I may need to get my hands on it to see whats going on :wink:

Yeah that's what I had in mind. I always same teamviewer as a last resort. At this point you have tried everything I asked and it is time to see if I can find the problem :-)

We will get on msn or yahoo chat and go from there.
