Windows vista firewall
« on: December 17, 2011, 07:55:56 PM »
After cleaning out my computer of a virus with windows security essentials and malwarebytes, I discovered that my windows firewall was turned off ..  I tried to restart and run as administrator, but would not comply ... Reason being of error code 0x6D9 ...  I have used tweaking.com to try and fix the registry..  But did not work...   If anyone has a solution or ideas it would be greatly appreciated ..

The firewall also depends on WMI. Did you run the WMI repair?
