Simple Port Forwarding "NOT FOUND" Error
« on: December 11, 2011, 08:30:27 AM »
So I typed in all the information about my router, the ports I needed forwarded etc.
But when I click Update Router, I get this NOT FOUND message and some errors in the other box that probably have to do with it.
How do I fix this error? The attachments are screen shots of the errors.
I have a Cisco - E4200 (Linksys Firmware), if it helps to know.

Take a screen shot of the of the main window of the program. So far from the looks of it, it looks like you dont have the correct router chosen in the program.

So post that screen shot and also tell me what model you do have

I think I chose the right router, the picture and my router look exactly the same.

The linksys doesnt have a login screen like the one in the screen shot. I think you have a 2nd router on your network.

Open IE or firefox, go to http://192.168.1.1

Once there login and then take a screen shot. I can hopefully see what router your logging into

Alright. I went there but I do not know the password. I had tried logging in earlier using admin and a few more passwords but none worked.
Is there anyway I can find out what it is?

No way to tell if you dont know what model it is. I wonder if it is the modem from your ISP?

If so just give them a call and they should give it to you.
