Can't see Lorex on Network...(new and lost)

Have Lorex DVR plugged into Buffalo router.  orange light on back of DVR instead of green.  I have a password on my router since wireless.  Do I need to give the DVR this username and password since it is wired in?  Used the auto port forwarding software and it worked fine.  Go to test connection and it does not find

any ideas??

Looks like it is working.

I put in your IP you posted with http://96.8.XXX.XXX:8080/
And I get the lorex login. SO it is working.

When home and on the same network as the DVR you will use the local IP. When outside your home like I am you will use the internet IP or the lorex DDNS name

Thanks!!  I see it now.

Now, is there a trick to getting my iPhone to see it.  I downloaded the app and put all the settings in but can not connect to the video. 

What am I missing?  I have the following settings:

Device Name:  Gregg Home
Address: gregg.lorexddns.net
Port: 1025
User ID: admin
Password:
Max Channel: 4


It keeps coming up with Alert, Fail to connect

Instead of port 1025 try 8080

Also if your iphone is using your home wifi use the local IP.
