Do you have the xbox hooked to the linksys or the modem?

Ok sorry for the long time i have not responded i eventualy called tech support and what they made me do is disable wifi and bridge my motorola modem because they said something was originaly wrong with it. so to anyone who is having problems portforwarding a 2274-62 motorola modem find out how to bridge it and get a router instead right when i bridged my modem it also fixed the problem with the nat being strict it is now open. Also thanks shane for all the help just explaining what i did so nobody had to go through what i did.

Ah so the problem was the modem, and the only way to make it behave right was bridge mode. Port forwarding should have worked.

This info will help many others bud  :cheesy:

Locking thread.
