Thanks Shane, I was opening the Siemens router.  How do I open or find out the Linksys router IP address?  If you look at my IPcong I posted in the beginning, it shows 192.168.1.1 but when I enter that in the address bar, I get an error message.

The gateway IP should be it
http://192.168.1.1

Try rebooting the linksys first.

Thanks Shane for answering all my stupid questions!!  You are a guhe help!!!

Rebooting worked.

So is the WAN/Internet IP address the same as the IP address?  I do not see anything that says WAN in front of it.

Sorry, one more stupid question.  On my 2nd modem (Siemens) I do not see anything called DMZ.

Is it called something else like Remote management access?

In the linksys go to the status page. There you will see internet IP. Write it down.

In the siemens go to firewall in the menu and DMZ is there.
Enable DMZ and have it point to the IP your wrote down.

YOU ARE THE KING!!!!!!!!  It all works now!!!   :cheesy: :cheesy:

Another question though, I noticed the web site portforward shows my external IP has changed and it is showing a different number now.  Isn't your External IP always the same?

External IP always changes. You can use sites like this http://dyn.com/dns/dyndns-free/

To over come your ISP changing your IP on you.

Since your all fixed I will lock this thread

And as always...
If your happy with my work. Then all I ask in return is you simply let others know about my site and programs. I help with anything computer or network related :-)
Also always feel free to make a post in the feedback forum.
And a facebook like at the top of the page of my site is nice as well. ;)
