Well blow me down!
I just tried to log into my DVR from home through this router, and it worked.
I had changed the IP and DNS in the DVR, but I didn't know it was prompting me to restart. After I restarted it, I checked the ports 80 and 9000 while still in the office with the port tester and it reported the port test 'failed'. But when I got home this evening, after seeing the Colts lose AGAIN, I decided to try the login from home. So, I'll have to investigate why the port test isn't showing open with the port test, but It is open as I can log into the DVR????? I'll let you know what I find out.

The port tester is only for testing ports on your computer. It opens the port and listens for a connection. So for a DVR the port tester isnt needed. Simply trying to connect is all the test you need
