Unable to view my Lorex Camera feed outside my Wifi

Hello

I have been experiencing issues with viewing my lorex camera feed outside of my wifi. I beleive this has to do with my Port being blocked. It also appears that everytime I reboot the Lorex DVR it gives me a new IP address.

There have been a few instances were I was able to unblock a port typically use 82 or 85 and I am able to successfully use it for a while then I beleive a new IP address gets assigned and it's gone again. I am struggling to know what I am doing to get the Port unblocked to use again. Typically I check my port on CANYOUSEEME.ORG to see if its open or not.

Any help on how to get my IP to stay the same if that is even possible, or what to do so I know how to always get it back up and running outside my network would be great.

I have screenshots of it ipconfig/all for two seperate times where it shows the change in IP Address.

I also know how to get into my router settings to take screenshots there as well if needed.

Well after weeks of messing with it - I beleive I have fixed it myself with use of notes from this forum... Let's hope it stays working and the next time it doesn't I am still able to fix it myself via trail and error :)

Shane -- If you read this your many answers have definitely helped me in getting this fixed. This forum is great in helping people get things fixed! Appreaciated greatly!

I definitely will be bookmarking this forum!

If anyone has any suggestions as to why my port will be open and then closes itself any tips would make my life a lot easier!!!
