nat type

Hey guys i have call of duty black ops on the xbox 360 and i seem to lag a lot and iv found that my nat type is on moderate when its open i dont lag how would i go abourt changeing it to open.

UPnP is auto port forwarding, make sure UPnP is on in the router and if your not behind 2 routers you should be set. :wink:

Log into your router and find the UPnP option there :wink:

Says im behind 1 router i tryed to port it on with http://192.168.0.1/ and i just copyed http://portforward.com but when i turned my xbox 360 on and check to if it had change on call of duty black ops it was still on moderate.

Find the WAN IP in the router, does it match the IP on this page?

Also was UPnP enabled?

OK good :-)

Now remove any port forwarding rules in the router. Once done power cycle the router. When it comes back up reboot xbox.

Then check and see how it looks :wink:

Ok i had 1 for utorrent which works fine and 1 for call of duty black ops so i remove both and turn it off and back on ok i be back in a few mins

back sorry i took so long my dvi to hdmi keeps playing on so had to play a round for the screen to on so i need to get a new 1 but any ways i did what you said and i went to find player match and it still says nat type moderate.

Utorrent also supports UPnP so open it up and give it a few minutes. Do you get the green check mark?
