Thats ok, click the view/remove ports button. When the port forwarding page loads is the rule in there? If so then it worked

That error isn't about port forwarding, it is saying it is unable to open the port on the computer to listen for connections.

Also to make sure port forwarding is working you should have run the port tester int he program, step 7.

It is a sucess. So does that mean that it must be another server running? (i do remember about hearing something you have to press stop before you X, but i havent got the server WORKING yet anyway so i felt no need whatsoever, but if that is the problem, Im not sure what process this would be. Because every time i have to restart my computer, i also have to reset my router to have the password. Seeing as its 2 AM, i would not prefer to go out waking everyone up to reset my router for the 3rd time tonight.

If the port forwarding is working your all set there.

The error from the server normally means something else is using the port on your computer. Find which program is using it and kill it.

Also if on vista or 7 make sure to run the server as admin so it has the rights to open the port.

Open a command window and put in

netstat -a -b

That will show you all the ports and the programs opening them. If you still have trouble with the server you may need to get some help on it. As for your port forwarding your all set
