Shane's Tool Box Detect Mutiple Routers

Each time I run the detect router utility the result shows I have 3 routers. However, I only have 1 router attached. 1st router is correct. The other 2 ? Any help? Thank you

status Log:
Checking for routers...

Possible 1st Router: 192.168.0.1
Possible 2nd Router: 192.168.57.18
Possible 3rd Router: 192.168.53.50

Any IP that starts with 192.168 is normally a local IP.

It is possible that your ISP or who ever you are connected with has you behind some routers of their own.

To see if they do log into your router and find the WAN or Internet IP of the router. Does it match the IP on this page?

If not then you are behind another router, or your ISP has you behind a network of their own :wink:

Thanks Shane, I should had mention to you that the other 2 routers are not in the range of my wan address: 72.54.125.145. That is why I was puzzled about it. Do you think it still with my provider?

I wonder if you have the same ISP as this person?

But it looks like your ISP has you behind a 2nd network. You will need to call them to find out how to get out from it. :wink:
