You don't setup the lorex dns in the router. I help with the port forwarding part of it. If you have trouble with the dns you will need to give them a call.

But before I have you do that lets make sure you have the port forwarding setup correctly

Open the port forwarding page in your router and post a screen shot for me. This will let me see if the port forwarding rule is setup correctly :-)

Lorex has step by step instructions that come with the dvr. Do you now have those?

What DVR model do you have, I can find the instructions on their site for you

IN order to view the cameras on the internet you need to setup the port forwarding.

Here is why :-)

The lorex port forwarding program I made for them will help you with this

For some reason the picture is messed up. Also turn off the remote admin feature in the router, this will get in the way of connecting to the DVR since the dvr uses port 80

As I said before, the ddns in the router is not for lorex, that is for a different service. SO disable that in the router.

Next on the first picture, as I said before, you need to turn off the remote admin feature. It is using port 80 and the dvr wants port 80. So turn that off in the router.

Once you do that let me know and I will try to connect to you and see if the dvr works. Right now it takes me to the router login because of the remote admin.

Not with team viewer. I try to connect to the dvr with IE

I just tried and it isn't working. Log into the DVR and find its network settings. What IP address does it have?
