it says echolife HG612 on it but no idea what sofwere on it

No need to give it to me, but thats not it. It will be the one that goes into the echolife not the bthomehub.

If you dont have it you will need to call your ISP to get it.

Because we will have to do a factory reset on the echolife to get it out of bridge mode (Unless your isp can do it for you)
And then you will need to put the login info back in.
