Kill frozen programs
« on: May 29, 2011, 05:06:40 PM »
Hi Shane
I understood from the previous thread[February]that the app has to be minimized in order to activate it with the hot keys. I can activate the app when I know that there is a probability for a freeze to occur, but what is the solution when system freezes unexpectedly ?
Thanks

The app was made for my fellow gamers in mind.

There have been tons of times I have been in a game, it freezes and I cant get the desktop, or task manager or anything to come up. I am stuck having to reboot. Ticks me off! lol

So I made the app to keep that from happening and to kill any program that shows up "not responding" in the task manager.

Towards other freezes such as the system itself, you may need to try and find what is causing the freeze to happen.

Thanks for your reply Shane, I think it may be a good idea to add an Auto start option to the tool, what do you think?

You could always make a shortcut. Go to properties of the shortcut and tell it to start it minimized.
Then put the shortcut in your startup folder
