Refresh my memory, what happened last time?

Also lets cover all the bases. Open a command window and put in ipconfig. Take a screen shot showing your local IP and post it here.

Now open the port forwarding page in your router, take a screen shot and post it.

This way I can at least make sure the port forwarding rule is correct before we move to the next step

I was the one who had some issue with Windows Firewall, some unwanted leftover firewall files

See here: http://forums.pcwintech.com/index.php/topic,1610.msg9076.html#msg9076

My local IP address is 192.168.1.64 and it matches the 'Forward to' IP address in SPF and the router page.

Looks good so far, can you post a screen shot of the port forwarding page so I can see the rules? make sure to scroll to the bottom of the page first

Removed all applications from the router app list, and ran SPF.

C0136 is the name of my computer and it matches my local IP address.

P.S. - Is this the image u want?

Everything looks great.
Here is what to do. Download my repair firewall tool again, extract and run it. Then reboot. While rebooting unplug the power to the router, wait 10 sec plug it back in. Give it a min or 2 to come back up, then try the port tester. Make sure the windows firewall is on.

Oh and in the router make sure in the device list your computer name isn't in there twice.

Lets see how it goes

Ran ur tool, in the end this wbemtest.exe tool comes up, dont know what to do with it, i just ignored it.

Unplugged the power to the router, Windows Firewall is on, in the router device list there's only one computer name... but the port i assigned is still closed

Well we need to make sure the problem is your computer or the router. Do you have another system we can test with?

Yes, i have another system and portforwarding works fine, so the problem is in my laptop...

Remember what was the problem last time u helped me? Something about leftover firewall files, or Windows Firewall not working correctly... i think the problem is the same

Thank god for google translate lol

OK looking at the last time I helped you, you had left over zone alarm files. In fact your the reason I made that detect firewalls tool on my toolbox
http://forums.pcwintech.com/index.php/topic,1610.msg9074.html#msg9074

So have you installed any firewalls or antiviruses since then?
And is the Windows firewall on and running?

 ;)

Yes, i read ur 'Common problems and fixes' thread and i had a laugh cause i knew u were talking about me  ;D

Glad that i contributed a bit to make ur site even more complete  :P

No firewalls or AV installed since then, Avira's still running with no alarms.

Windows Firewall is running too, but im not sure its working properly...

I ran a small tool (WMIDiag.exe) from the link u provided (http://windowsxp.mvps.org/repairwmi.htm) and it states:

"ERROR: WMIDiag detected issues that could prevent WMI to work properly!."

Here's the logfile:

http://www.datafilehost.com/get.php?file=20893031

Do you think this can help?

I am going to be making a repair windows tool soon and your system will be perfect to test it lol

Things are messed up on your system, right click on my computer, what version of windows and what service pack is installed?
Also when was the last time you ran windows updates?
