Hi all,

Well I've downloaded the port forwarded program and It's great. Ran the initial set up and forwarded the twyo ports I needed to to let me play blood bowl and tested them saying they were both open. Tried to play the game and got the same port error message saying they were not open. I swore i followed the steps to the letter but no luck. Now please forgive a rookie question but I leave my firewall on the belkin router I have on assuming the port forwarding rules allow things through the firewall. Is this correct or incorrect. Any help would be appreciated as I want to play a game and I'm having zero luck.

Cheers

Mick

If the port tester says the ports are open then your fine on the port forwarding

Two things to check.

1. Did you open all the ports needed for the game?
2. Make sure your firewall or the Windows firewall isn't blocking the game. I have seen this happen alot

The rules should let the ports through the firewall on your router but unfortunately this isn't something that is an industry standard. What that means is that it can (and does) vary from router to router. Start out with Shane's suggestions then we'll go from there.
