Username and Password for Netgear DG824M

I've downloaded the simple port fowarding and am going through the steps, but i'm also getting stuck at updating the router as i need the username and password, im on Windows 7 and i have tryed the default username and passwords like admin password or admin admin, and none of them work, i looked at the back of my router as well and it doesnt look like there is a reset button, do you have any suggestions?

Sounds like your router/modem is from your ISP since the Netgear DG824M is a dsl modem.
They may have changed the default user name and password. You don't want to do a hard reset. The modem has your DSL username and password, a hard reset would get rid of those then you wouldn't be online.

Just give your ISP a call and they should tell you the login info
