That could be our problem. :wink:

There is no need to set the IP to static in the router or the ps3. The router goes by computer or device name.

Try turning off the static and then go back and check the device list.
Also when you do have the PS3 on and also see what IP it has so I can compare that to the device list. Oh and of course send me another pic when you do :wink:

At what point did your PS3 stop getting an IP address?  That shouldn't be the case at all. NAT types and IP addresses are different things completely.

Also, what IP did you set it too in your router? Was it 192.168.1.* or was it 0.0.0.0 or something else entirely?

I know.  I'm just wondering if they happened to put 0.0.0.0 as the static IP in the router. I doubt it but mainly I want to see if the IP address that was entered is private address in the same subnet.
