How To Port Forward in Huawei EchoLife BM622 WiMAX CPE

Can Anyone Teach me how to port forward in huawei EchoLife BM622 WiMAX CPE please i need help..please...

Have you tried using our free program Simple Port Forwarding? (www.simpleportforwarding.com)

There currently is a Huawei EchoLife BM621 and 625 model in the database.  See if either of those work for you and if they don't then you're router will just need to be added.  If you use the Router Screen Capture program (http://www.pcwintech.com/router-screen-capture) to view and capture every page and then upload the zip file then Shane will be able to add the router to the database very quickly.   :smiley:

I'll check back in the morning to see how this works out for you.  It's definitely time for me to be getting some sleep.

When you say you successfully forwarded but it still fails what is telling you it failed?

Also, can you post a screen shot of your port forwarding page of your router so we can check if the rules are correct?

Looks like Simple Port Forwarding added the ports correctly. :wink:

So now we need to find out why they are still failing. So we need to start going down this list

So first thing, log into your router, find the status page and look for the WAN or Internet IP.
Does it match the IP that shows up on here? http://www.pcwintech.com/port_test.php

Your ISP has you behind a 2nd network. This is why your port forwarding isnt working.

Most ISP make you pay for a static internet IP to get out of that 2nd network.

You will need to call your ISP and see how much they charge for a static internet IP. This is the ISP's way of stopping people from hosting torrent files and such, and to make a little extra $ by charging to get out of the network.

Yeah I hate that ISP's do that. and a LOT of them do.

I do notice a lot more wireless ISP's do it and haven't seen to many dsl or cable ISP do it.
