I'm curious to know what exactly you want to have disappear also.  I'm looking at the Advanced Registry key right now on a Vista 32bit system and there is a whole bunch of items.  It's pretty much everything you'd see if you right clicked on the taskbar and chose properties and then went to customize the start menu.

If you aren't seeing that area of the registry check the path or otherwise you have something else blocking it...as it should be there.   :wink:

yeah kinda hard to get screen shot of the balloons as i need mouse to take screen shot   i do have a iso of vista  i got from the darkside of the internet a long time ago  :wink:  could i boot from that and  fix are does it only fix the mbr  :wink:   but like i said no big deal  thanks

yeah i took 1 the ballons are on anything in taskbar when hovering over with  mouse including start button

Thats not a balloon tip, that's the standard tool tip text.

I attached what a balloon tip looks like.

Tooltips are a different thing, I found this for you  :wink:

 i do have it on  zero   and ive also  used reshaker to delete a line  533  ive used all the tricks  nothing works its beaten me haha    but its no big deal  just wanted to see if i could :wink:
