Right, just download the simple port tester and use it :-)

Well we know the outside world can connect to you, good. So give me a link to the game's site and I will do some research on a local client connecting to a server  :wink:

You can connect to the server thru "Novaworld".  The game is Delta Force Extreme2   and my game server is Grunts Meds...

In the first post, he says from another post how users can connect to themselves when they host a server.

Quote
If you have player who want to join from within the same house, via the Novaworld Login, the PC serving will need to make a few adjustments to the game.cfg file, as well as create a port forward on their modem...this ensures the requests go to the PC that is serving, as all the other PC's on that network who are joining also have the default 32768 in their setup.

The trick is to have the server use a different port than the default  :wink:

Quote
Locate the // MULTIPLAYER section, in there you will find the setting for the port numbers...which we looked at in the post above.

Your looking for the one like this..

mpnovaworldportmin = "32768"

Change it to a different port. I use 32771, cos I have 2 DFX and 2 JO installs on my server, all have been changed from default.

You can use 32769, 32670, 32772..these all work OK on my server.

mpnovaworldportmin = "32771"
