Port Forward issue with D-link 524 v2
« on: July 16, 2010, 11:33:26 PM »
Hi Shane,

Im new to all this and have attempted to understand what was being said with other peoples issues for the last couple of hours before resorting to posting. Anyways i am trying to open a few ports for Final Fantasy XIV Beta client with the ports :

UDP 55296 – 55551
TCP 54992 – 55551
UDP 80, 443

I am pretty sure that when using the SPF program that the router updated correctly. It's only the last step of testing the ports and if they are working does the status of the ports are 'failed'

It's only one router that we have and looking at the troubleshooting, from what i understand, it looks as thought it should work.

I am running Windows vista, have tested the ports with firewall on AND off, normally it is set to medium.

Anyways, it would be much appreciated if you could have a look at the screens i have provided to see if anything stands out to you.

No problem :-)
From the screen shot you are behind 2 routers. See if you can log into
http://10.1.1.1

Then follow this

Let me know how it goes

Good to hear your all set

Since your all fixed I will lock this thread.

And as always...
If your happy with my work. Then all I ask in return is you simply let others know about my site and programs. I do a lot more than port forwarding :-)
Also always feel free to make a post in the feedback forum.
