Need help ASAP router linksys WRT54G
« on: June 14, 2010, 01:31:51 PM »
Okay, a short version of my story, 4 months ago i'm trying to open some ports on my router, i just have 1 router, i called my ISP provider they said they ain't blocking any port... I need to open ports 7171, 7172 and 80. If someone can help me and open them succesfully i can pay them if they need to (up to 10 EUR). I'm getting crazy, please someone help me.. Used a lot of tutorials, disabled my antivirus, disabled firewall, used simple port forwarding... Reboot it 30 times, upradges firmware... Idk what else to do... If you want to, you can get on my computer via the program Teamviewer 5 and control my router from there to resolve the problem yourself (it'll be faster). Thanks.

Have you made sure to try everything on here?

If you have then I will save time and hook up with you and take a look. But if I do get you fixed and the fix turns out to be on the page you owe me a cigar lol

Follow up.

Turned out his cable modem had NAT enabled, which turned it into a router. Thus he was behind 2 routers. Once we got a hold of his ISP and they gave him the log in he turned NAT off which gave the linksys the internet IP and port forwarding then worked :-)

Since your fixed I will lock this thread.

and as always....
If your happy with my work. Then all I ask in return is you simply let others know about my site and programs. I do a lot more than port forwarding :-)
Also always feel free to make a post in the feedback forum.
