ok thank
I have a problem with this router, I run Flash media server that uses ports 1111/1935 I tried to open them, but surely there is some parameter wrong, I use no ip, and also dyndsn but both of them when I go typing in the browser pointing to the IP address of the admin area that is (192.168.1.1) should instead point to the external IP

Ok I think I am understanding better now

How are you trying to log in? When you are are on the same network as your server you want to connect to it using the local IP. When you try to connect with your internet IP it may not work as your router doesn't play nice to the connection going out then back in.

Have you tried connecting to your server from an outside connection? If not you can PM me your Ip and I can try to connect for you

this is my ip, (to mp)  it works from the outside, but when I had the old modem was working well from within, I must necessarily have this working as I build address rtmp server for Macromedia Flash

Yes it is working. The problem is your router doesn't like reverse NAT. What that means is when you try to connect to your self by your internet IP the router cant handle it. Because the connection is going out and then right back in. Some routers handle it fine.

But it wont stop you from working. When your on your network you will have to use your local IP to the server and then from the outside use the link you sent me. If for some reason you have to have your setup use the internet Ip you may need to get a new router that handles the reverse nat better

Only if you need to. Why cant you use the local Ip for your network and then the internet IP outside the network?

Thats not the problem, everything is working right now. The problem is called reverse nat. When you try to connect to yourself through your internet IP is called reverse nat. You are going out to the internet then back into your self (to view the server) Some routers simply don't handle this.

All you need to do is when your on your computer use the local Ip to connect to your server. When your on a different connection use your internet Ip to connect. Thats all there is to it

And you should keep using it, you will need it when your outside your network. But while your at home on the same network as the server just simply use the local ip then.  :cheesy:

I still have the big problem because I can not use two IP addresses for internal and external users for me, macromedia rtmp server requires a connection that determines the IP address of my machine

You should be fine. the server will use the local IP. When you connect from the outside the router send the connection to that IP.

And like I said before I was able to see your server so it is working.
Are you getting confused on the Local & Internet IP setup? I can explain in more detail if it would help :-)
