Zoom x5 Model 5654
« on: May 05, 2010, 08:07:51 PM »
I only found the Zoom x5 5564 instead of 5654 model from the router list. I wonder if they have the same setting. I tried forwarding it using 5564 setting to play on Garena. However, I still cant join any game nor see any host

I screenshoted my router setting yesterday and hopefully you might update changes soonest.   :cheesy:

My IP is not stable. Do I have to do forwarding everytime i turn on my computer? I think the setting you install is only for stable IP.

When you tried the 5654 did the program get the ports added?

Well good at least we know port forwarding is working

So now the things to check is if you have all the right ports forwarded and to make sure any firewall software isn't blocking the game

from what your saying, then I can use the same setting for model 5564 for my 5654 model?  :cheesy:

but I did add the setting to the window firewall by following the step by step set up  :shy:

how come it is still not working ?

maybe spend some times helping me port forwarding for my model 5654 yea?

I've been using this modem for 4 years now and been stucking with this problem for that long

Considering changing modem but my modem is still working so fine  :artist: it would be a waste doing so  :blank:

Yeap you can use the 5654

Make sure the windows firewall isn't blocking the game as well

Since the port tester showed it was open then port forwarding is working. So now we need to check to make sure you have the right ports for the game and make sure it is allowed in the firewall

Well first thing let's make sure you forward all the right ports.
What game is it?
I will google it to find the ports.

Looks like you don't need to port forward the game but you do need to port forward Garena

that thread looks too professional for me to understand  Beside it doesn't look like it supports port forwarding for my modem model  :shy:

The SPF is also designed to support Garena as well. Maybe im asking for too much but is there any other way like you said above?  i.e. looks for the right port for it (I think it is the main problem here) since it is different IP or port setting for different modem model. I dont think there is any problem with the firewall setting.

Come on Shane, there gotta be something =((((((

Look in Garena settings, find what ports it is set to use and port forward those :-)
