The username and password that you log in with can make a big difference on what screens are shown.
It is odd how it would show DMZ, which is a open all ports rule, yet not show the virtual server page.

But looking at the screen I made the script for you will see you have an older firmware. I would check to see if they have an updated firmware you could upgrade to. This could fix the problem and get the pages to show :-)

BY the way I was looking at the software version in the pics, those are the only 2 that don't match between the 2 pics :-)

Good luck and let me know what you find out.

yes my Boot Loader Version is newer than yours (in your pic) and ya the Software Version of yours is newer than mine

and yes i did a bit searching see this
http://ssss-multiplay.bsnl.co.in:8080/ssssportal.war/

over there down click on the link
Please Click here to download Lattest Firmware for your Modem

I am still downloading it...so can you please tell me if i should do this or not..i am asking becuz many ppl have screwed their modem (UT300R2U) by Upgrading the FW

Also please see these 2 threads for me
http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-broadband/10622-ut300r2u-alternate-firmware.html

http://broadbandforum.in/bsnl-broadband/47591-bsnl-broadband-utstarcom-ut300r2u-firmware-upgrade/

sum people say that the firmware of Beetle 220BX modem is compatible with UT300T2U and should work but they also say USE AT YOUR OWN RISK which makes it a bit scarier.....

i have only 1 word now.....HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cant tell you which one to use lol.
The safest bet, call the ISP and ask them what firmware upgrade from their site you should use.
Then if it does brick it, it will be their fault and not yours and they will replace it.

Honestly though, if your to worried about killing the router, which can happen, but not always. Then just use DMZ.

In the DMZ page put the local IP of your computer in there, enable it, then go to save and reboot.
DMZ is a open every port rule. After you do that your computer will be totally open. SO a good firewall program is needed. Comodo is a great free one.

LOL  :cheesy:

OK do this, open my simple port forwarding program, in the top right side in the menu you will see your local IP.
Write it down.
Now go to the DMZ page, put that IP in.
Save it.
Then go to the save/reboot page in the router. Have it save the settings and reboot.

Then run my port tester (step 7 in simple port forwarding program) and test any port you like.

Good to hear your working :-)

Since you are all fixed I will lock the thread.

And as always...
If your happy with my work. Then all I ask in return is you simply let others know about my site and programs. I do a lot more than port forwarding :-)
Also always feel free to make a post in the feedback forum.
