Cannot Port Forward For Warcraft 3, Using SPF
« on: April 19, 2010, 11:39:51 PM »
Hey,
I've been trying for a while now to forward my ports to be able to host Wc3. I stumbled across your program, followed the steps and worked fine. (so i thought). When i went to check the port in tools menu it said it failed. Help?

First make sure to give this a read,
http://www.pcwintech.com/common-problems-fixes-port-forwarding

Its import to check each one. There has been tons of people who say they do then when I help them it ends up being on that page lol.

But sometimes things are hard to figure out, even if they are on the page.

So give those a try, if you still have trouble just let me know :-)
Almost midnight for me, so I will be back in the morning

Morning :-)

Getting the 2 router problem fixed is pretty easy.

Here is what to do.

First log into your router.
Find the WAN/Internet IP address. Write it down.
See the Gate way address there also? that is the IP of the other router.
Log into it.
Find the DMZ page, put the IP your wrote down in there, enable it and save.

Now go test your ports again :-)

Look at your modem, most likely DSL. What make and model is it?

You need to be able to log into the linksys in order to get this fixed
Did you try logging in with out a user name and the password admin?

Did the ISP give you the linksys or do you own it?
