Did you go through the common fixes page?

Even if you did lets go down the list.

First can you post 2 screen shots?
The first one will be a screen shot of the main window of my program, this will let me see what your local IP is and I can make sure it is set in the rule.
The 2nd pic will be of the port forwarding page in the router, this will let me see if the rule is added right :-)

Also find the WAN/Internet IP in the router, does it match the IP on the port tester page?

So the WAN ip in the router on the status page is a different IP than the port test page?

Then your ISP has you behind a 2nd network and port forwarding wont work as long as you are behind it. Some ISP's let you out of that 2nd network is you buy a static internet IP from them. But you will need to call and ask how much that is. Some ISP's are cheap and others are not.

Normally I would have you check for a 2nd router, but since the Beetel is a dsl box then your not behind a 2nd router.

No, I mean log into your router, find the WAN status page. This should show you what your Internet IP is. Does that IP match the IP on the port tester page.

Should show on this page

Good! then then we need to keep looking to why it isn't working yet.

So now make sure DMZ is disabled (just make sure it is blank)
http://www.pcwintech.com/showimage?file=files/screenshots/beetel-220bx/045.png

Then, (Which I realize now the script doesn't do)
is save & reboot the router.

Do those and test the port again with the port tester :-)

The program shows you local IP while the website shows your internet IP :-)

Make sure the port forwarding rule is still on.

We may need to start looking to your computer now for the block :-)

I meant make sure the port forwarding rule is still in the router and that it didn't clear out when you rebooted the router :-)

Its just about midnight for me, I have to go setup a few new computers I built for a customer tomorrow so I need to go to bed.

I will pick this up in the morning with you :-)

Some things to try. If the port forwarding rule is still in the router then you need to start looking at your computer.
The common fixes page will help a lot.

Make sure to read and try all of it.

Let me know what antivirus and firewall you have installed. If the only firewall you have is the windows one make sure it is turned on.

I also save connecting to people with teamviewer as a last resort, my goal is to teach. But when everything has been covered and the user has tried hard then I will connect and get it fixed, so don't worry, one way or another I will get you fixed or at least find out what is wrong (such as a bad router)

Night bud!
