Hello Shane,

I have try your tool, and i have a little questions:

why only it downs "memory usage", but it doesn´t down "virtual memory"?
(that's what i see with the taskmanager,
but with processExplorer it doesn´t low privatesBytes nor VirtualSize, it seems not work).

what´s the diference between CleanMen and empty (resource kit 2003)?

thank you for share your tools...

javi.

Virtual memory is a totally different beast. There is now way to mess with the virtual memory. Virtual memory is more of a storage anyways. Virtual memory is only suppose to be used when there isn't enough free memory. Although I don't understand why it is still used when I have GB's free of memory. Its up to windows how that is handled. Microsoft doesn't offer any way to work with it. I looked at some virtual memory API's but that is dangerous ground when working with other processes.

There is a TON of info on memory and how and why windows works with it. It can give you a nose bleed LOL.

Cleanmem is nice and safe because it calls on windows to do the cleaning, which it does anyways. Just now it happens more often :-)
