SPF won't finish first step in updating router.
« on: March 28, 2010, 05:34:40 PM »
So when I try to set up my linksys-wrk54g with my one gaming port, it doesn't work. It worked before, but I took my computer with me to my mother's and tried to get my server up over there. Didn't work, came back, now it usually does this. Tried re-installing, tried resetting router, done many things.

Mhmm, can log on just fine. Another error I get is this, where it seems like it just skips something maybe? I dunno, but when I go to check it it fails.

now the page is loading? lol

The program already sees the mcrft on the page so it skips it.
So it looks like the rule got added.

Have you ran the port tester to see if it works (step 7)?

Sometimes it loads, sometimes it doesn't. And yeah, checked through both PFportchecker and SPC. Failed both.

The port forwarding rule in the linksys is pointing to 192.168.1.104
But in the program you have your ip showing as 192.168.1.101

Update the rule in the router and test the port again :-)

If it still doesn't work then it time to start going down the list

Cool, got it working. Thank you very much. And I gotta say, you must be a multi-tasking master. Seriously, 4 kids AND a forum? I salute you.

Good to hear your working :-)

I have a wife, 4 kids, 3 dogs, 2 cats.
Run 3 businesses (My computer repair business, this website & forum, and a transportation software business)
And I still find time to spend with the family and also get my exercise in.

Want to know the trick to it all? You have to REALLY LOVE what you are doing

If your happy with my work. Then all I ask in return is you simply let others know about my site and programs. I do a lot more than port forwarding :-)
Also always feel free to make a post in the feedback forum.

Since your all fixed I will lock the thread.
