Okis I try Shane.
I'll put screenshots.
I tell you :
I have many systems. Six times installed windows xp pro in each pc (i have two : mozart and Asus)
I have assign the same pc complete number in all systems.
pm-
jose- .....

Now the screenshots.

I need a way to depurate the net because I don't get share all folders o access from all pc to the shared folders. And they seemed to be shared.
I am the only system administrator.
I need a simplest tutorial to depure my net sharing the same folders from one system to another.

no problem  :cheesy:
If I am understanding right you are sharing folders but it is coming up asking for a login when you try to access them.

I am heading out right now but I will be back later. There are multiple ways to go about changing this for you, I just have to fig. out which will be easiest :-)

I have had to fix this myself a lot on customer networks.

I will give you a walk through later on today.

OK there are a number of different things to try to put XP back to allow anonymous file sharing and stop asking for the login.

This is for general info
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304040

There is a number of things we need to check on first. Is simple file sharing enabled? The Microsoft link above will show you how to check it.

We also can check and make sure none of the group policies have been turned on that might be causing this as well.

Quote
Permitting Network Access Without a Password

To allow users to log onto their computers without a password and then access the XP Professional machine without a password, you must make a security policy change:

   1. Go to Control Panel | Performance and Maintenance | Administrative Tools | Local Security Policy.
   2. Expand Local Policies | Security Options.
   3. Double-click Accounts: Limit local account use of blank passwords to console login only, which is enabled by default. Disable this option and click OK.

This will permit network access without a password. The user's computer can boot directly to the Windows desktop, and be validated against the corresponding XP Professional user account, without a password.

Note that the term “blank passwords” isn't technically accurate.  There's a difference between having a password which consists of one or more blank characters, and having no password at all.  This setting actually permits access by users who have no password at all.

Lets give these a try.

I think I have that option unhabilited, so I don't need password

In the spanish version :

Panel de control - herramientas administrativas - directiva de seguridad local - Directivas locales - opciones de seguridad - cuentas : limitar el uso de cuentas locales con contraseña en blanco sólo para iniciar la consola - deshabilitada

What can I do now ?
I'll revise now the microsoft link

Best Regards

The easiest thing to do is to have a user name and password on both machines that match.

Then windows will never ask. From what I can tell (I have tried these settings as well) Microsoft has really made it a pain. For security reasons I can not seem to get my Windows 7 to stop wanting a password from other systems when I tried it as well.

The only way (so far) was to add my wife's user name and password to my system. This way it allowed her in without asking for the log in.

My net sites folder. No all the disks with the handing hand is here.

By example is f en Jose-a04555092a, but not "c en Jose-a04555092a" or "d en Jose-a04555092a" . These two hard drives are shared too, but don't appear here.

Have I any other ways to see what units are shared ?

Best Regards

TO view all the shares just open the run command from the start menu
then type in \\ComputerNameHere
and hit ok.

Of course change ComputerNameHere to the name of the computer you want to connect to. Make sure to have the \\

I'll try and comment.
At the present moment I access the hd appear in my sites net , except of course the items don't appear and are shared because of the supporting hand under the elements in each pc.

I believe may have the same problem if I change to a other xp system . I have six times installed xp in each pc.
